Product Information
1. disana tie-on, knit nappy
This is the actual nappy. Made of pure cotton, it absorbs most of the fluid and retains it inside its fibers.

2. disana flannel liner
Also made of cotton, it absorbs the remaining moisture and keeps the baby dry for a long period of time.

3. disana paper liner
Used on top of the cotton liner, this will retain the heaviest soiling.

4. disana knit, wool nappy cover
This provides the watertight outer covering for the diaper. Made from soft, pure sheep's wool, it absorbs without itself ever becoming wet.

Directions for use

Wickeln1

The disana nappy is very easy to use. Spread out the tie-on, knit nappy on the changing mat. Slightly, fold down the rear flap. Now place the flannel liner in the center of the nappy.

wickeln3

If your baby is very small, you can adjust the length of the nappy by folding back the rear edge.

Wickeln3

Lay the baby on the nappy/diaper. First, pull up and place the liner between the legs and fold the edges towards the middle.
Then, pull up the lower flap of the nappy between the legs and over the waist. Here too, by folding the flap, you can adjust the size of the nappy. Lastly, cross the ties of the knit nappy across the baby's back, and bring them round to the front and tie in a bow.

Wickeln4

The fine knitting gives the nappy a comfortable elasticity so that if fits snugly. The baby is not restricted, but wrapped gently enough with plenty of room to move.

Wickeln5

The disana knit, wool nappy cover is then pulled over the tie-one nappy. While watertight, the cover allows the air to pass. The soft ribbing around the waist and legs hold the nappy cover securely and gently in place. Due to the temperature balancing qualities of wool, the baby is kept warm without getting too hot.

Care Instructions

disana Waschsack Care Instructions for Cotton
Plant fibers like cotton are durable and can withstand high temperatures and regular machine washing. This makes washing our cotton nappies/diapers and liners relatively easy and simple. Wash on gentle cycle using a mild soap in at least 140°F (60°C) water and if necessary 194°F (90°C).
