Disana is our choice for a newborn. It is simply the most beautiful looking system an so soft and the best part is there is no need to buy different sizes as they grow. Disana can look a bit tricky but it is very simple once you know where to start.
1. The Disana Tie on organic cotton nappy. Lay it down with ties to the front. Fold down the back for a small baby. 2. Place a Disana Flannel nappy or Muslin nappy (or both) folded on top and lay bub on top. Fold in back edges (for a newborn it will almost meet in th middle). Bring up the front of the nappy between the legs and wrap ties around firmly. 3. Add a cover. For nights we suggest the wool pull on cover and during the day the Pul cover or the velcro wool option from Disana.
If using full time we suggest a minimum of 20 (24-30 is better) of each of the tie on and the flannel or muslin plus 2 wool night time covers, 2 pul and 1 wool velcro.
